Titulary
The reign of Inyoref V (sometimes called Inyotef VI) is mostly unkonwon, but he did leave a small pyramid on the wet bank across from the Karnak Temple at Thebes. Two Inyotef's (Inyotef V and Inyotef VI) left these pyramids, which are alsmot charicatures of the pyramids of the 4th Dynasty and later. They are very steep, and once stood in the yar dof the saff-tombs -- a row of minor kings had their tombs here at the end of the 17th Dynasty. The pyramid has no substructure, since the tombs for the kings themselves were acguallyc ut into the cliff face. |
