Dynasty Notes

After the long, contested period of the Thrd Intermediate Period, the Late kingdom is quiet, and in some ways tries to resurrect the Old Kingdom style of art in an attempt to recpature the glory of the earlier periods.

The Nubians fall to the Assyrians during this kingdom, and the Greeks step in to reestablish order. The 25th Dynasty show sdefinitely artistic infulecnes from the Old Kindgom. Greek rulers of the 27th and 28th dynasty are just fhe first, and by the end of the 30th Dynasty, the last Egyptian rulers of Egypt are on the throne.
