Iona Abbey
This is not a ruined abbey, which was rather dissapointing for me -- with all the romantic stories and history surrounding Iona, I expected a vast, mist-covered, romantic pile of stones over looking the turquoise sea.. While the location is surely evocative and tranquil, the buildings here have all been restored/rebuilt in the 1980s.
