East Shields Castle
just a stub of a tower remains
16th Century Tower
This is it - a small stair tower and fragment of end wall in a farmyard. The turret is about 3m in diameter, and stands two stories. The tower was three storeys.
Ownership
The Inglis family owned the castle.
