Museums and Mechanical Stuff
I might wander all over to see piles of stones and old castles, but Mark loves the mechanical stuff we run across -- plane museums, old mills, furnaces, machinery museums. He cheerfully hikes up to castle ruins, and I try to be equally cheerful about looking at bits and pieces of mechanical stuff. I have a feeling that his is far more pateint than I am.
At any rate, Scotland has a variety of this sort of thign -- from modern museums to Historic Scotland sites.
