1 Bhfuil gú (bhfuilir) 'do chodladh? will thoo (wilir) dhu khullah. Are you asleep?
2 Níl ~ Tá mé (táim) 'mo dhúiseacht. neel ~ thaw mae (thawim) muh yoodhuchth No. ~ I am awake.
  Nach bhfuil tú (bhfuilir) 'do shuidhe fós? noch will thoo (wilir) dhu hee fo/s Are you not up yet?
  Eirigh 'do shuidhe ~ Tá sé ag eirghe deighearnach (déigheanach) or mall. iree (irig) dkhu hee ~ thaw shae eg iree djernuch (daenuch) mawl (mowl) Get up! It is getting late.
  Tá mé (táim) 'mo chodladh thaw thoo (thawim) dhu khullah I am asleep
  Tá tú (táir) 'do chodladh thaw thoo (thawir) dhu khullah Thou art asleep
  Tá sé 'na codladh thaw shee na kullah He is asleep
  Tá sí 'na codladh thaw shee na kullah She is asleep
  Tá sinn (táimid) 'nár gcodladh thaw shing (thawmidh) nawr gullah We are asleep

1. "Moch" used for "early" in the morning only. "luath" otherwise.
2. "ch" like "ch" in "loch"
3. Pronounce u/ very short ad run it into the next vowel.
