Dynasty NotesThe 24th Dynasty ruled concurrently with the 23rd Dynasty in many regions, and was contemporary with the Kushite Dynasty 25. Again, this is a period of unrest and disorganization amongst the regions of Egypt. For the most part, the pharaohs of the 24th Dynasty ruled from Sais. They were a dynasty of Libyan "Great Chiefs of the West" and only a few of them became formally pharaoh in Egypt.
